PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN
DURING TRANSPORTATION
• Know and follow the applicable safety
rules, vehicle code and traffic laws
when transporting the machine.
• Select the best transport route by
considering the length, width, height
and weight of the truck with the
machine loaded on it.
• Never abruptly start or stop or run at a
high speed at the sharp curves during
transport. Doing so will move or lose the
balance of the loaded machine.
If the machine is to be transported
complete, by sea, for example, the
special tie bar provided by the
manufacturer is to be used.
For enquiries, contact the manufacturer.
Precautions for transportation by low
loader and rail
For rail transport, the machine is to be
carried on a suitable type of wagon.
Information of loading procedures is available
from the relevant rail authorities.
For road or rail transport, the upperstructure
must be locked in position using the
mechanism located near the operator’s seat
in order to prevent slewing; the slewing
brake must be on; and the wheels must be
chocked.
Any attached equipment is to rest on the
floor of the transporter.
