AddingFuel
Theenginerunsonclean,freshdieselfuelwith
aminimumcetaneratingof40.Purchasefuelin
quantitiesthatyoucanusewithin30daystoensure
fuelfreshness.
Usesummer-gradedieselfuel(No.2-D)at
temperaturesabove-7°C(20°F)andwintergrade
dieselfuel(No.1-DorNo.1-D/2-Dblend)below
-7°C(20°F).Useofwinter-gradedieselfuelatlower
temperaturesprovideslowerashpointandpourpoint
characteristics,allowingeasierstartsandlessening
thechancesofchemicalseparationofthefueldueto
lowertemperatures.
Usingsummer-gradedieselfuelabove-7°C(20°F)
contributestowardlongerlifeofthefuel-pump
components.
Important:Neverusekeroseneorgasolinein
placeofdieselfuel.Failuretoobservethiscaution
willdamagetheengine.

fumesmaybeignitedbyaspark.
•Storefuelinanapprovedcontainerand
keepitoutofthereachofchildren.Never
buymorethana30-daysupplyoffuel.
•Donotoperatethemachinewithoutthe
entireintakeandexhaustsysteminplace
andinproperworkingcondition.
