1.Cleanthedirt-ejectionportlocatedonthe
air-ltercover(Figure35).
2.Removetherubberoutletvalvefromthecover,
cleanthecavity,andreplacetheoutletvalve
(Figure35).
3.Inserttheair-lterelementintoair-lterhousing
byapplyingpressuretotheouterrimofthe
elementtoseatitintotheair-lterhousing
(Figure35).
Note:Ensurethatthelterissealedproperly
byapplyingpressuretotheouterrimofthelter
wheninstallingit.Donotpressontheexible
centerofthelter.
4.Aligntheair-ltercoverwiththeair-lterhousing
withtherubberoutletvalveinadownward
position—approximatelybetweenthe5o’clock
and7o’clockpositionswhenviewedfromthe
end(Figure35).
5.Securethecovertothehousingwiththelatches
(Figure35).
6.Lowerthecargobox;refertoLoweringthe
CargoBox(page19).
