ServiceInterval:Every200hours—Cleanthe
primary-driveclutch(moreoftenin
dustyordirtyconditions).
Note:Operatingthemachinewithadirtyclutchcan
increaseweartointernalcomponents.
1.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Raiseandlatchthecargobox.
3.Removethe6ange-headboltssecuringthe
clutchcover.
4.Setasidethecover,spacer,andspring(Figure
54).

dryimmediatelywithcompressedairtoremove
excesswateranddebris.

7.Ifdebrisorbuildupexistsaroundthebeltor
alongtheclutchshaft,useaneabrasivepad
orasimilarproducttoremoveit.
8.Installthespring,clutchcover,andange-head
bolts.
9.Torquetheboltsto12to13.5N∙m(105to120
in-lb).

washerbecausewatercouldcontaminatethefuel
system.
Cleantheexternalsurfacesoftheengine.

oftenunderextremelydustyanddirtyconditions.

Note:Usea50/50mixofethyleneglycolandwater
forcoolant.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Removetheradiator-overow-tankcap(Figure
55).
3.Ifthecoolantlevelislow,llthetankwithcoolant
tothebottomofthellerneck.
Note:Donotoverll.
4.Replacetheradiator-overow-tankcapand
cleananyspills.
