•Alwaysplacefuelcontainersontheground
awayfromyourmachinebeforelling.
•Donotllfuelcontainersinsideamachine
oronatruckortrailerbedbecauseinterior
carpetsorplastictruckbedlinersmay
insulatethecontainerandslowthelossof
anystaticcharge.
•Whenpractical,removefuel-powered
equipmentfromthetruckortrailerand
refueltheequipmentwithitswheelsonthe
ground.
•Ifthisisnotpossible,thenrefuelsuch
equipmentonatruckortrailerfroma
portablecontainer,ratherthanfroma
fuel-dispensernozzle.
•Ifayoumustuseafuel-dispensernozzle,
keepthenozzleincontactwiththerimof
thefueltankorcontaineropeningatall
timesuntilfuelingiscomplete.

1.Sitintheoperator'sseat,insertthekeyintothe
keyswitch,pressdownonthebrake,androtate
thekeyclockwisetotheONposition.
Note:Ifthebackupalarmisinstalledandthe
gear-shiftselectorisintheREVERSEposition,
thebuzzersoundstowarntheoperator.
2.Whentheglow-plug-indicatorlightturnsoff,
rotatethekeyclockwisetotheSTARTposition.
3.Whentheenginestarts,turnthekey
counterclockwisetotheRUNposition.
4.Disengagetheparkingbrake.
