TowingaTrailer
Themachineiscapableofpullingtrailers.Two
typesoftowhitchesareavailableforthemachine,
dependingonyourapplication.Contactyour
AuthorizedToroDistributorfordetails.
Whenhaulingcargoortowingatrailer,donot
overloadyourmachineortrailer.Overloadingcan
causepoorperformanceordamagetothebrakes,
axle,engine,transaxle,steering,suspension,body
structure,ortires.Alwaysloadatrailerwith60%of
thecargoweightinthefrontofthetrailer.Thisplaces
approximately10%oftheGrossTrailerWeight(GTW)
onthetowhitchofthemachine.
Themaximumcargoloadshallnotexceed567kg
(1,250lb),includingtheGTW.Forexample,ifthe
GTW=182kg(400lb)thenthemaximumcargoload
=386kg(850lb)
Toprovideadequatebrakingandtraction,always
loadthecargoboxwhentrailering.Donotexceed
theGTWorGVWlimits.
Avoidparkingamachinewithatraileronahill.Ifyou
mustparkonahill,engagetheparkingbrakeand
blockthetrailertires.
