6 Understanding the Gateway Menu
The Gateway option provide the majority of configuration for the device including WAN
and LAN setup, wireless settings, parental control, advanced gateway options such as
MAC filtering and port forwarding, device diagnostics, and device management options.
To access the gateway menu:
1. Access the Web user interface. Refer to Accessing the Web User Interface Locally on
page 14.
2. Click Gateway from the top main menu.
3. The following menu options are available under the Gateway menu, and each of these
options contain further options in sub-menus.

Use the WAN option to view information regarding the WAN interface of the
UBC1303AB00.
To view WAN interface information:
1. Click Gateway from the main menu.
