3.16.3.2 Database Merge Troubleshooting
Symptoms:
• The pre-requisite Spirotrac Database Version check has failed.
Possible Cause:
• Ensure that both the source and destination databases are
configured for Spirotrac version 1.13 or greater.
Symptoms:
• The Department Count check has failed.
Possible Cause:
• In order to perform the merge, there must be at least one
department set up in both the source and destination databases.
Symptoms:
• The Institution Count check has failed.
Possible Cause:
• In order to perform the merge, there must be at least one institution
set up in both the source and destination databases.
Symptoms:
• The Database Size and Availability check has failed.
Possible Cause:
• Ensure there is enough space on the destination machine
hard drive
to store the source records.
Symptoms:
• After a database merge Spirotrac restarted in safe mode.
Possible Cause:
• This can happen due to timing constraints when larger databases
are merged. If this happens, restart Spirotrac.
3.16.4 Automated Database Backup
To perform automatic backups of the current local database on close of Spirotrac:
1. Select Tools > Database Management
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. To enable automated database backups, set the checkbox Perform automatic
backup of current local database on close of Spirotrac.
3.17 Vitalograph Spirotrac Fusion
Vitalograph Spirotrac Fusion is an integrated, easy to use Quality Assured
Spirometry System providing expert over-reading of spirometry in primary care,
occupational health, or post-training environments. The expert over-readers can be
your own experts or provided by Vitalograph as an optional service.
On selecting the Send Sessions, Send All Unsent options from the File menu or by
selecting the Send Sessions to Over-read button, a dialog opens informing the user
that the Vitalograph Fusion Quality Assured Spirometry System is not currently
enabled. Click Yes to view information about the system and a link that allows the user
to contact Vitalograph for further information about Fusion.
