18.4 Install Drivers: Vitalograph In2itive/Alpha USB on PC
Note: These drivers are installed automatically as part of Spirotrac Installation.
To install drivers manually:
1. Run Setup from the installation media.
2. Select Install USB Device Driver option.
3. Follow on-screen instructions.
4. Connect one end of USB cable to USB port on PC.
5. Power on the In2itive/Alpha device.
6. Connect other end of USB cable to In2itive/Alpha device.
7. The PC detects that new hardware is connected and displays the ‘Found New
Hardware’ installation wizard. When asked “Can Windows connect to Windows
Update to search for Software?” Select “No, not this time” and click Next.
8. Follow default options on-screen until asked where to install the hardware.
Choose to install the software automatically. Click Next.
9. An information dialog may open relating to Windows Logo checks. Choose
Continue Anyway on this screen.
10. Follow on-screen instructions to complete driver installation.
18.5 Install Drivers: Nonin Pulse Oximeter on a PC
Note: These drivers are installed automatically as part of Spirotrac Installation.
To install drivers manually:
1. Run Setup from the installation media.
2. Connect one end of USB cable to USB port on PC.
3. When windows auto-detects the Nonin device:
a. The ‘Found New Hardware’ installation wizard opens. When asked “Can
Windows connect to Windows Update to search for Software?” Select
“No, not this time” and click Next.
b. Follow the default options on screen until asked where to install the
hardware from. Choose “Browse my computer for driver software”. When
prompted to “Search for driver software in this location”, navigate to the
PulseOximetryDriver folder on installation media and click Next.
4. When Windows does not auto-detect the Nonin device:
a. Open Control Panel. Double-click the Add Hardware icon.
b. When prompted by the 'Update Driver Software' wizard, point to the
PulseOximetryDriver folder containing drivers for the device and click
Next.
5. The driver installation completes. Click Finish.
18.6 Install Drivers: Supplied by Vitalograph technical support on
COMPACT
Note: Any drivers to be installed must be obtained from Vitalograph.
