Note: Bacterial viral filters must be used to provide maximum protection against the
possibility of contamination and inter-subject cross infection during testing.
18.13 Setting up Vitalograph COMPACT for Wireless Networking
Note: Please see the manufacturer’s user instructions for more details.
To setup COMPACT device for wireless networking:
1. Plug Wifi adapter into USB port on the COMPACT.
2. The Wifi adaptor client manager displays in the bottom corner on-screen.
3. Select Create Profile.
4. Select setup method:
a. Automatic Secure Setup to setup automatically.
b. Advanced Setup for manual selection.
5. Select the connection method:
a. Connect manually to see a list of available wireless access points.
b. Connect with WPS-PIN to configure wireless connection settings
manually.
6. Once connection is successful, save and close Wifi manager. The COMPACT
is ready for use with network.
18.14 Configuration Mode on the Vitalograph COMPACT Device
The COMPACT has to be in configuration mode in order for some settings to be
available upon restart of the COMPACT. These include adding a printer, installing
software, Wifi settings, Timezone/Date/Time changes and pairing with ECG device.
To place COMPACT into configuration mode:
1. Login as Administrator user.
2. Select Tools > Administration > Configuration Mode.
3. COMPACT will re-start in configuration mode.
Note: When in configuration mode, testing is disabled. In order to return to normal
mode, select File > Exit and restart your COMPACT.
