For toner adherence issues:
• Change the printer option and try again.
Go to the Printing Preferences, click the Paper tab, and set the paper type to
Recycled.

Repetitive Defects If marks or voids repeatedly appear on the page use the following guidelines to
determine the customer replaceable unit which needs replacing:
• Repeated every 38 mm (1.5 in.), replace the Toner Cartridge.
• Repeated every 52 mm (2.0 in.), replace Toner Cartridge.
• Repeated every 94.4 mm (3.72 in.), replace the Toner Cartridge.
• Repeated every 51 mm (2.0 in.), replace the transfer roller (contained in the
maintenance kit).
• Repeated every 94.2mm (3.7 in.), replace the fuser (contained in the maintenance
kit).
Page Skew • Ensure that the paper is loaded properly.
• Check the paper type and quality. (See Media Specifications on page 62.)
• Ensure that the guides are not too tight or too loose against the paper stack. (See
Loading Paper on page 56.)
