Installation of a check
valve block
Check valves have been already installed or
integrated into the wheel pumps in the case of
two Steering Stations.
Important!
The autopilot pump must be connected to
the hydraulic tank through a
Return Line
. The
hydraulic tank is normally inside the helm
pump.
To function properly, the autopilot pump
needs to receive at least slight fluid pressure
from the return line. A tank location of 3 ft
(1m) above the autopilot pump will provide
sufficient pressure to the pump.
