Managing Notifications
Notification icons report the arrival of new messages, calendar events, alarms, and ongoing events. When
a notification occurs, an icon appears in the Status bar with a brief description. See Notification Icons on
page 29 for a list of possible notification icons and their description.
• To view a list of all notifications, open the Notification panel by dragging the Status bar down from the
top of the screen.
Main battery charge is low.
Main battery charge is very low.
Main battery is charging.
All sounds, except media and alarms, are muted. Vibrate mode is active.
Indicates that all sounds except media and alarms are muted.
Do Not Disturb mode active.
Airplane Mode is active. All radios are turned off.
Bluetooth is on.
The device is connected to a Bluetooth device.
Connected to a Wi-Fi network. Indicates the Wi-Fi version number.
Not connected to a Wi-Fi network or no Wi-Fi signal.
Connected to an Ethernet network.
Speakerphone enabled.
Indicates that the Orange key is locked.
Indicates that the ALT key is pressed.
Indicates that the CTRL key is pressed.
Indicates that the Shift key is pressed.
Indicates that the Shift key is locked.
Indicates that a BT headset is connected to the device.
