3.9.2. REPLACEMENT COOLANT PUMP
• Check the shaft for abnormal wear and bearing noise.
If necessary, change the shaft and the bearings.
• Clean the housings.
• Position the new, lubricated oil seal on the specific tool
and bring it into contact with the specific tool.

• Use a stream of hot air to heat the seat of the pump
bearings. Keep the stream away from the oil seal.
