Rear brake pedal adjustment
(03_09, 03_10)
The brake control lever has been ergo-
nomically fitted when assembling the ve-
hicle.
If necessary, the brake control lever
clearance can be adjusted:
•
Loosen the lock nut (1).
•
Screw the brake set screw (2)
completely.
•
Screw the lock nut (3) complete-
ly to the pump control bar (4).
•
Screw the pump control bar (4)
completely and then unscrew it
3 - 4 turns.
•
Undo the brake set screw (2)
until the brake control lever rea-
ches the desired height.
•
Lock the brake set screw (2)
with the lock nut (1).
•
Unscrew the pump control bar
(4) and make it come into con-
tact with the pump piston.
•
Screw the bar back in and make
sure there is a minimum clear-
ance of 0.5 - 1 mm (0.019 -
0.039 in) between the pump
control bar (4) and the pump pis-
ton.
CAUTION
MAKE SURE THE LEVER (5) HAS
SOME EMPTY TRAVEL SO THAT THE
BRAKE DOES NOT REMAIN OPERAT-

De commandohendel van de rem werd
ergonomisch geplaatst tijdens de fase
van de assemblage van het voertuig.
Indien nodig is het mogelijk om de speling
van de commandohendel van de rem te
regelen:
•
Los de tegenmoer (1).
•
Draai het remregister (2) volle-
dig vast.
•
Draai de tegenmoer (3) volledig
vast op de commandostaaf van
de pomp (4).
•
Draai de commandostaaf van
de pomp (4) volledig vast, en
draai hem los voor 3 - 4 draaien.
•
Draai het register van de rem (2)
los tot de commandohendel van
de rem zich op de gewenste
hoogte bevindt.
•
Blokkeer het remregister (2) met
de tegenmoer (1).
•
Draai de commandostaaf van
de pomp (4) los en breng hem in
contact met de zuiger van de
pomp.
•
Draai de staaf weer vast en ga-
randeer een minimum speling
van 0,5 - 1 mm (0.019 - 0.039 in)
tussen de commandostaaf van
de pomp (4) en de zuiger van de
pomp.
