Section 4 - Conguration
VDSL
VDSL is one of the latest and fastest home broadband technologies. VDSL uses
the DSL port on your DSL-3900 to connect to the Internet. In order for your
DSL-3900 to use VDSL, you must congure the ATM VC Settings and your WAN
Settings.
Congure your
WAN connection:
Select VDSL to congure ADSL connection settings.
If you click on Advanced Settings, the following WAN Settings are available:
VDSL VC Setting
Service Number: Select the service number from the drop-down menu. If no service
has previously been added, or you wish to add a new one, select Add.
Enable Virtual
Circuit:
Select whether to enable or disable this Virtual Circuit.
Enable Vlan ID: Select whether to enable or disable this Vlan ID.
Vlan ID: Enter the VLAN ID. Enter a value from 10 - 4096. The default value is
835.
To set your IPv4 connection parameters of WAN Settings, refer to WAN
Settings on page 32.
