Section 4 - Conguration
Ethernet
Your DSL-3900 is equipped with a multi-purpose Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN port which
can be used to connect to the Internet. This port may be used to connect to other Ethernet
based networks. In order for your DSL-3900 to use Ethernet, you must congure the Ethernet
Settings and your WAN Settings.
Congure your
WAN connection:
Select Ethernet to congure Ethernet connection settings.
WAN Settings
Service Number: Select a service number from the drop-down menu, or to create a
new service number, click Add.
Enable Virtual
Circuit
Enable or disable virtual circuit, also referred to as VLAN tagging.
Enable Vlan ID Enable or disable Vlan ID.
VLAN ID: Enter the VLAN ID. The value should be 0, or 0-4079.
Proceed to IPv4 Settings on page 32 or IPv6 Settings on page 83.
