Section 4 - Conguration
System Settings
System Settings provides features to control your DNS-340L. Users can restart the NAS, restore the system to it’s original state,
set idle times, shutdown the system, congure settings, and congure system temperature settings.
Click to reboot the DNS-340L.
Click to restore the device back to the factory default settings.
All previous settings that have been congured will be erased.
Click to turn o the DNS-340L.
Click the Save button to save the current configuration
settings to a le on your computer. If at a later time you need
to reload this conguration after a system reset, browse to
the le and click Load.
Enter the amount of time after which the user administrator
will be automatically logged out if there is no activity. After
an automatic logout due to inactivity, the administrator will
need to log in again using their username and password.
Here you can congure the system temperature threshold
value to protect the device from overheating. This value can
be set in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The device will automatically
shut down when the internal sensor detects the temperature
set here.
