7 Functional Check
Connect the Babylog 8000/Babylog 8000 plus/Babylog 8000 SC to the central gas
supply and switch on the device.
The software version will be displayed as soon as the self-test has been completed.
8 Testing the Emergency AIR Valve
Switch off the Babylog 8000/Babylog 8000 plus/Babylog 8000 SC and prepare the fol-
lowing test set-up (see Figure below).

Slowly pull the test bellows.
The bellows must fill up.
a.) Babylog 8000 SW 2.0 and SW 3.00
The opening pressure is –1.5 mbar to 0 mbar
T-piece
Corrugated hose 100 mm
Bellows
Manometer –30 to 120 mbar
Test set-up
