and left direction when performing hand
feedoperation,adjustwiththemanualskew
correction knob.

5-3. Abnormal folding
If abnormal folding occurs, check the following points.
• Donotusepaperoutsidethespecications.
Particularly, deformed folding occurs
frequently in the use of thin, imsy paper not
appropriate.
• Usepaperwithgrainsoflonggrain.
(ifthepaperwithgrainsofshortgrainisused,
the number of sheets to be used is up to 2
sheets.)
• Ifthepapercurls,attenthepapertouse.
• Settheauxiliaryguideleavingasmallclearancebetweentheguideandpaper.
• Usethestaplerandstaplesasspecied.Donotuseanyotherstaplersandstapleswhicharenot
specied.
