3.9 Checking the Settings
Starting with the measurement display (
3-13), pressing any key except HOME will access
the MAIN MENU; from here, follow these steps
:
(If the display is showing anything other than
the measurement display, press
HOME to return
to the measurement display fi rst).

Set the preferred language for the software.
Note!
If you are unfamiliar with the language set:
3-14 shows the sequence of keys to set
a different language.

If the system has been set up accordingly, the
code for access level 1 must be entered at this
point to enable access to the following menu.
Note!
The factory setting for this unit is "no code
required”. For ease of operation, it is recom-
mended to use the factory settings for access
codes while setting up the unit for the fi rst
time. In the following sections, therefore, no
more reference will be made to any need for
entering a code.
The following sections are structured so that
the user can work through them one by one
after powering up the unit. After completing
these steps, the unit will be confi gured to the
user’s needs and properly functioning.
