Solving Remote Control Operation Problems

If the projector does not respond to remote control commands, try the
following steps until the problem is solved.
a
If you lose the remote control, you can order another one from Epson.
a
Check that the remote control batteries are installed correctly and have
power. If necessary, replace the batteries.

Check that you are not using the remote control for the streaming
media player. Make sure you are using the projector remote control.
c
Check to see if a button on the remote control is stuck down, causing it
to enter sleep mode. Release the button to wake the remote control up.
d
Make sure you are operating the remote control within the reception
angle and range of the projector.
e
Make sure the projector is not warming up or shutting down.
f
Strong fluorescent lighting, direct sunlight, or infrared device signals
may be interfering with the projector's remote receivers. Dim the lights
or move the projector away from the sun or interfering equipment.
g
The streaming media player and the remote control may have been
disconnected. Perform pairing again by holding down the and right
arrow buttons on the remote control at the same time for about seven
seconds.
a
To unpair the streaming media player and the remote control,
select > Remote & accessories > on the Android TV home
screen, select the remote control you want to unpair, and then
select Unpair.
