Solving Projector Power Problems
If the projector does not turn on when you press the power button, try the
following steps until the problem is solved.

Check the following items.
• If you are using the remote control, check the batteries of the remote
control.
• Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the projector and
to a working electrical outlet.
• Check that you are not using the remote control for the streaming
media player. Make sure you are using the projector remote control.

Unlock the lock feature using the following method.
• To release Child Lock, hold down the power button on the control
panel for three seconds.

Disconnect the cord and contact Epson for help.

Solving Projector Shutdown Problems
If the projector turns off unexpectedly, try the following steps until the
problem is solved.

Projectors may have entered sleep mode after a period of inactivity.
Perform any operation to wake the projector. To turn off sleep mode,
select Off as the Sleep Mode setting.
s Extended > Operation > Sleep Mode

When the current input source is Home, you cannot change the
Sleep Mode setting. Press the button on the remote control
to switch the input source to HDMI, and then set Sleep Mode to
Off.

When the temp (temperature) indicator is lit orange, the projector has
overheated and turned off.

The cooling fans may run in standby status depending on the
projector settings. Also, when the projector wakes from standby
status, the fans may cause an unexpected noise. This is not a
malfunction.
