REPAIRS/ADJUSTMENTS
4.4 FUSE AND FILTER CIRCUIT BOARD
Removal
Remove the Upper Case (4.1).
Disconnect the harness from the Power
Transformer (Refer to Parts List for the
modelyou are servicing).
Remove the screw witnin the circle marked
"CGND" on the Fuse and Filter Circuit Board.
Remove the screw fastening the ground
wire from the AC Power Cord.
Remove the Fuse and Filter Circuit Board
with the AC Power Cord attached.
Replacement
1. Reassemble in reverse order.
4.5 DAUGHTER BOARD (All Models except RX)

Remove the Uppercase Assembly (4.1).
Disconnect the harness from the Daughter
Board to the Control Circuit Board if one is
present (fig. 4-4).
Remove the ground strap and clamp.
Remove the screws securing the Daughter
Board to the Control Circuit Board.
Open the clamp holding the Daughter Board
to the Control Circuit Board.
Lift the Daughter Board from the Control
Circuit Board.

Replacement
1. Reassemble in reverse order.

4.6 CONTROL CIRCUIT BOARD
Refer to Figure 4-5
Removal
1. Remove the Upper Case Assembly (4.1)
2. Remove the Daughter Board (4.5)
3. Disconnect connector from the power
transformer.
4. Disconnect the connector from the Printer
Mechanism.
5. Disconnect any other connectors from the
Printer Mechanism (Refer 6.4- Cable
Connections).
6. Remove the screws securing the Control
Circuit Board to the chassis (fig. 4-5).
7. Unhook the Control Circuit Board from the
Lower Case clamps.
8. Lift out the Control Circuit Board.

Replacement
1. Reassemble in reverse order.
2. Set DIP Switches on the new board to match
the board you are replacing.
