1. Remove topcover(Procedure 4.1). Reconnect control panel(Procedure 4.2). Check
for gears binding: binding of platen or pin feed sprockets: obstructions(paper clips
or paper) around platen or in paper guide. Repair any problems found.

1. Remove lop cover (Procedure 4.1). Reconnect control panel (Procedure 4.2). Check
that the connector between the main board and control panel is properly connected.
Cable is properly connected and not damaged.
