6.9 INSTALL CHECKLIST
• Unpack Printer.
a Check for shipping screws (MX).
• Install the Ribbon.
a Load paper (continuousor cut sheets,depending on model).
• Plug in Printer and turn ON.
• Operate Control Panel Switches.
• Run SELF-TEST.
• Connect Printer to Computer.
6.10 REVISIONS TO MANUAL
Revision pages will be sent to you so that you can keep your manual up to
date, when a page is changed or added, a revision letter added to the
bottom of the page identifies it as a revised page. The actual change is
identified as follows:
Text Black Vertical Bar in Margin
Tables Black Vertical Bar Left of Changed Date
Illustrations Small Black Square Below Illustration
If the same page is changed by a later revision, the first marks are removed,
and new ones are added to identify only the new information.
When the entire manual is re-issued due to an extensive revision, a revision
letter and revision date will be added to the front cover. All change bars will
be removed and all revision letters will be removed from the page numbers.
