detected movement but tacho value is to low
(second check). Repeat test until error code
is generated.

control system.
The blood pump was commanded to stop by
the control system. The measured values
from tacho and/or rotation indicator show
that the blood pump is still running. Repeat
test until error code is generated.

12.6.5 Venous clamp test
The purposes of the Venous clamp test are:
● to verify that the venous clamp can be opened by simultaneous order from both
the protective system and the control system (at start of the clamp test).
● to verify that the protective system can close and then open the venous clamp.
● to verify that the control system can close and then open the venous clamp.
The venous clamp has two independent shut-off paths. The protective system and the
control system must agree to open the venous clamp. If any of them orders the clamp
to be closed, it will be closed.

12.6.6 Arterial clamp test
The purpose of the Arterial Clamp test is to verify that the protective system and the
control system can open and then close the arterial clamp.
The arterial clamp has two shut-off paths. Both the protective system and the control
system must agree to open the arterial clamp.
