28 Verify that the rubber collar of the rotating seal is pushed all the way into the
circular slot at the rear of the seal weight (
Figure 6-12).

29 Close the centrifuge cover interlock latch (if applicable) by rotating the latch
knob fully counterclockwise.
30 Do one of the following:
• If the READY light is illuminated, the processing set is now installed and
ready for use. Proceed to
“Loading the Starting Cell Product” on page 6-14.
-or-
• If the READY light is not illuminated, press the STOP RESET button to exit
the Tube Load mode. If the READY light still does not illuminate, ensure the
sliding covers are closed, the centrifuge cover interlock latch is closed (if
applicable), and the hydraulic pump is at its home (starting) position. If the
READY light remains off, proceed to
“Ready Light Does Not Illuminate” on
page 7-13.
Caution:
Do not interfere
with the seal
weight during processing
operations. The rotating
seal can be damaged and
the cell processing set
could fail.
