IMPORTANT: Do not use abrasive cleansers, pads or cloths which can scratch the
surfaces. Be careful, when removing the drip tray to avoid spilling the contents.
1. Turn the selection dial to the vertical position, press the POWER button to switch
OFF, and unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the grill from the drip tray. Take out the filling level indicator by simply
pulling it out of the support.
3. Lift the drip tray a little at the front side, then carefully take out the drip tray and
empty the drip tray in the sink.
4. Pull out the black steam baffle at the rear side of the drip tray.
5. Using a soft cloth or soft nylon brush, wash the drip tray, grill, filling level indica-
tor, and steam baffle in warm dishwater. Wipe dry all parts.
6. First replace the steam baffle in the drip tray. Then insert the drip tray in the appli-
ance. Replace the filling level indicator and grill.
CLEANING THE WATER TANK
You should clean the water tank regularly to avoid the build-up of residues and alga
from the water.
CAUTION: Be careful, when cleaning the water tank, to avoid damage to the
support of the lid and the valve at the bottom of the water tank.
1. Turn the selection dial to the vertical position, press the POWER button to switch
OFF, and unplug the appliance.
2. Pull the lid of the water tank upwards, then, by the lid, pull the water tank
upwards and out. Empty the water tank.
3. Fold the lid of the water tank back and carefully clean the interior of the water
tank using lukewarm dishwater.
4. Wash the exterior and lid using a soft cloth.
5. Repeatedly rinse with clear tap water.
6. Thoroughly wipe dry the exterior of the water tank.
CLEANING THE HOUSING AND WARMING PLATE
IMPORTANT:
Do not use abrasive cleansers, pads or cloths which can scratch the
surfaces.
The outer housing and warming tray may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Polish
with a soft, dry cloth.
