Clean water tank (optional)
A clean water tank is integrated into the right side cover. It is accessed
for filling at the sprayers right side when entering the platform. The ball
valve is located on the valve cover below the EasyClean filter on sprayers
left side. The water in this tank is for hand washing, cleaning of clogged
nozzles etc. Only fill this tank with clean water from the well.
Capacity: approx. 20 litres.
±
WARNING! Although the clean water tank is only filled with clean
water, this water must NOT be used for drinking.
BoomPrime (optional)
BoomPrime is a low pressure circulation system that primes the boom
tubes prior to spraying to ensure a homogenous fluid concentration in
boom tubes and main tank.
The BoomPrime system is attached to each end of a boom section (A).
The boom spray sections are feed into the middle of boom
sections (B).
Liquid for BoomPrime is taken from a bypass valve (C) just before the
flow meter. This valve operates in opposite phase:
When priming, the liquid direction of flow will be reversed. The liquid will be feed into the nozzle tubes from each end and
will then return any water back to the main tank through the EVC section valves dump line.
The BoomPrime pressure is adjusted on the handle at valve (D) that comprises a pressure gauge. See “BoomPrime
adjustment (optional)” on page 46 for adjustment.
Dilution kit (optional)
The dilution kit consist of the four valves added to the liquid system, enabling the rinsing water to be directed from the
rinsing tank into the main tank and piping to dilute spray liquid residues.
The dilution kit will ease diluting of chemicals in main tank or boom piping done from the drivers seat while driving in the
field. This can be useful when interrupting a spray job, e.g. because of rain or before the tank has to be re-filled at the farm.
The dilution kit has two functions that is selected with the optional function switch on the spray controller.
Tank dilution: Dilute boom piping and the main tank at the same time.
Boom dilution: Dilute the boom piping only.
÷
NOTE! The dilution kit is NOT a cleaning device. For cleaning the sprayer, please see “Dilution kit (optional)” on
page 66.
÷
NOTE! Dilution of chemical residues may be required by law in certain situations before returning to the farm for filling
or cleaning. Please be familiarized with and follow current rules.
