8.5.2 Face Detection
The face detection is supported by DS-7200HWI-E1(2)/C/F models only.
Purpose:
The
Steps:
1. Enter Face Detection interface of Camera Management and select a camera you want to detect.
Menu> Camera> Face Detection
2. Select the analog camera to configure the face detection.
The DS-7204HWI-E1/C/F supports the face detection for the first analog camera (Analog 1); and
DS-7208&7216HWI-E2/C/F supports the face detection for the first and second analog cameras (Analog 1
and Analog 2).

3. Check the checkbox of Enable Face Detection.
4. Click to configure the trigger channel, arming schedule and linkage actions. Please refer to the
Step 5 in Section 8.5.1 Line Crossing and Intrusion Detection for details.
5. Set the sensitivity for the face detection by moving the sliding bar. Five levels are configurable, and the
sensitivity level gradually increases from left to right.
6. Click Apply to save the settings.
