4.2.1 Setting PTZ Presets, Patrols & Patterns
Before you start:
Make sure that the presets, patrols and patterns should be supported by PTZ protocols.
Customizing Presets
Purpose:
A preset is a predefined image position which contains information of pan, tilt, focus and other parameters.
You can customize the presets and the presets can be used with the event triggered action.
Steps:
1. Enter the PTZ Settings interface.
Menu> Camera >PTZ

2. Select the camera for PTZ setting from the drop-down list.
3. Use the directional and zoom / focus / iris buttons on the PTZ control panel to steer the camera to the
desired view.
4. Input the preset No. (1~255) in the Preset text field, and then click the Set button under the Preset item
to save the preset.
5. Repeat the steps 3-4 to save more presets.
6. You can click the Clear button under the Preset item to clear the selected preset or click the Clear All
button to clear all the presets.
