Copying Recorded TV Programs to DVD or CD
TV programs recorded in Media Center can be
converted to an MPEG format, by using ArcSoft
ShowBiz. This means that recorded TV programs
recorded with ShowBiz can be played from a PC
and from a set-top box DVD player.
To copy a Recorded TV program with ArcSoft ShowBiz
1 Insert a blank DVD+RW, DVD+R, CD-RW, or
CD-R disc.
2 Click Start, choose All Programs, Video,
if present, ArcSoft ShowBiz, and then click
ShowBiz.
3 Select the Media tab and then select
Recorded TV Shows from the drop-
down list.
4 Select your recorded TV program and drag it
to the Storyboard section of the window. A
message appears telling you that your
recorded TV program is in DVR-MS format
and ShowBiz converts it to MPEG-2 format.
Click Yes to continue the conversion.

If your PC has a dvd
writer drive, you can
archive your recorded
TV programs to
DVD+RW or DVD+R
media and play them
back on your PC in
Media Center or from
a set-top box DVD
player.
