10.7 Measuring the rear wheel dimension unloaded
Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 43)

Position the sag gauge in the rear axle and measure the distance to marking SAG
on the rear fender.

Note down the value as dimension

Finishing work
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 43)

Hold the motorcycle upright with the aid of an assistant.
Again measure the distance between the rear axle and marking SAG on the rear
fender using the sag gauge.
