ANALOG CAMERA TEST - PTZ Address Scanning
When enabled, SecuriTEST IP will scan PTZ addresses in the analog video
modes. Scanning will stop when exiting analog video mode. Used for
connecting a single camera only. If connected to a head-end, multiple
cameras will be activated during the scanning process.
Note that the PTZ parameters must first be set to match the camera (
see
PTZ section).
SETUP >> PTZ Address Scanning >> ON
then ANALOG & HD CAMERA>>CVBS>>PTZ
Set protocol, communication port, communication rate, to match the PTZ
camera under test, then to press "Scanning" to start the PTZ camera's
address searching.
Touch “Auto scan +”. The address increments in steps of 1. When the
address is found, the PTZ camera will continue to pan right. Touch "Auto
scan(+) to stop address incrementing. Then use "Manual scan (-)" to
search the address until the camera stops panning right. At this point, the
address field shows the camera's PTZ address.
Touch “Auto scan -”. The address decrements in steps of 1. When the
address is found, the PTZ camera will continue to pan left. Touch "Auto
scan(+) to stop address decrementing. Then use "Manual scan (-)" to
search the address until the camera stops panning left. At this point, the
address field shows the camera's PTZ address.
