uncontrollable AC drive running due to faults of the communication cable or the host
computer.
The communication port of the AC drive supports the Modbus-RTU protocol, and the
comunication is implemented only when the host computer supports the
Modbus-RTU master station protocol. If the PROFIBUS-DP protocol is required for
the communication, contact the agent or Inovance.
4.4.2 Start Mode
The CS500 adopts direct start mode, and has the built-in time sequence for special crane
brake control (see the description of group FA function codes).
4.4.3 Stop Mode
The CS500 supports two stop modes, deceleration to stop and coast to stop, set in F6-10.

4.5 Setting the Running Frequency of the AC Drive
The AC drive provides two frequency setting channels, namely, main frequency source X
and auxiliary frequency source Y. You can select one frequency source and switch over
between the two sources. You can also perform superposition on the two sources by
setting the calculation formula to meet different control requirements of different
scenarios.
4.5.1 Frequency Setting by the Main Frequency Source
There are eight types of main frequency sources, terminal acceleration/deceleration
(non-retentive at power failure), terminal acceleration/deceleration (retentive at power
failure), AI1, AI2, AI3, pulse input, multi-speed, communication with the host computer.
