Introduction
This manual provides operation instructions for Kohlerr
MPACt 1500 automatic transfer switch controls and
related accessories.
This manual applies to MPACt 1500 controllers with
controller application code (software) version 2.0.0 or
higher. To check the code version, go to the View
Control Parameters screen. See Section 4 for
instructions.

Read this manual and carefully follow all procedures
and safety precautions to ensure proper equipment

A s eparate transfer switch operation and installation
manual provided with the unit contains instructions for
transfer switch installation, manual operation,
scheduled maintenance, and bypass/isolation
procedures, if applicable.
The equipment service requirements are very important
to safe and efficient operation. Inspect parts often and
perform required service at the prescribed intervals.
Obtain service from an authorized service distributor/
dealer to keep equipment in top condition.
