• Do not rip rock-beds with the shank length at the maxi-
mum.
The shank may not penetrate sufficiently and may be over-
loaded, and accordingly the shank may be broken.

It is dangerous if the work equipment moves by mistake when the blade is adjusted. Lower the work
equipment to the ground of a stable place, stop the engine and set the work equipment lock lever se-
curely to LOCK position.
METHOD FOR TILTING TILT DOZER
NOTICE
•
The tilt distance can be adjusted up to 920 mm. (It depends on the work equipment installed at
present.)
If the tilt distance exceeds 920 mm, excessive force is applied to various portions and machine can
be damaged. Accordingly, adjust with int 920 mm.
• When the optional wide shoe is installed, adjust the brace length in the range where the straight
frame does not interfere with the shoe when the blade is tilted to maximum.
By operating the blade control lever, the tilt distance of 460 mm or more is obtained on the right side, and
460 mm or more is obtained on the left side as well.
When more tilt distance is necessary, perform the following.
Turn brace (1) by using rod handle (2) installed to the brace on
the right side.
The blade can be tilted up to 920 mm by changing length (L) of
the brace.
Standard length (L) of the brace is as follows;
Semi-U dozer: 1374 mm
SIGMA Dozer: 1360 mm
