Place the machine on a level ground and check for any reduc-
tion in the oil of the idler (part P), track roller (part Q), and carri-
er roller (part R).

Loosen seal bolt (1) slowly.
If oil oozes out through the thread portion, the oil level is
not low. Tighten the bolt again.
If no oil oozes out, perform the following step 2.
REMARK
Seal bolt (1) of the idler is not seen until the outside side
cover is removed.

Remove seal bolt (1).
If no oil oozes, the oil level is low. Ask your Komatsu dis-
tributor for repair.
METHOD FOR REPLACING DOOR DAMPER
Measure groove depth (A) of door damper rubber (1).
When groove depth (A) decreases to 2 mm or less, replace the
damper.
The damper is installed at top and bottom, 2 pieces each on
the R.H. and L.H. doors.
