15.11 Changing the turn signal bulb
Note
Damage to reflectorReduced brightness.
Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease
before mounting.

Main work
(All EXCF models)
Remove the screw on the rear of the turn signal housing.
Carefully remove diffuser 1.
Lightly squeeze orange cap 2 in the area of the holding lugs and take it off.
Press the turn signal bulb carefully into the socket, turn it counterclockwise by
about 30°, and take it out of the socket.
Info
Do not touch the reflector with your fingers, and keep it free from
grease.
Press the new turn signal bulb carefully into the socket and turn it clockwise
until it stops.
Turn signal (R10W / socket BA15s) ( p. 122)
Mount the orange cap.
Position the diffuser.
Insert the screw and first turn it counterclockwise until it engages in the thread.
Tighten the screw slightly.
Finishing work
Check that the turn signal system is functioning properly.
15.12 Changing the speedometer battery
Preparatory work
Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 98)

(EXCF EU, EXCF AUS, XCFW)
Remove screws 1.
Pull the speedometer upward out of the holder.

Using a coin, turn protection cap 2 all the way counterclockwise and remove
it.
Remove speedometer battery 3.
Insert the new battery with the label facing upward.
Speedometer battery (CR 2430) ( p. 122)
Check the O-ring of the protection cap for correct seating.
