12.24 Mounting the seat

– Hook in the front of the seat at the collar sleeve of the fuel tank, lower it at the rear
and simultaneously push it forward.
– Make sure that the seat is correctly locked in.
– Mount and tighten the screw of the seat fixing.
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

– Pull off the air filter box lid in area A to the side and remove to the front.

– Insert the air filter box lid into the rear area A and clip it into the front area B.

Note
Engine failure Unfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.
– Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the engine and result in increased wear.

Environmental hazard Hazardous substances cause environmental damage.
– Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.
Preparatory work
– Remove the air filter box lid. ( p. 68)

Main work
– Detach air filter holder 1 at the bottom and swing it to one side. Remove the air
filter with the air filter support.
– Remove the air filter from the air filter support.
