ಥ Stand the vehicle upright.
ಥ Check the brake fluid level in the viewer

an air bubble is visible:
ಥ Add rear brake fluid.

ಥ Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and keep out of the reach of children.
ಥ If brake fluid gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and contact a doctor immediately.

KTM recommends brake fluid DOT5.1 fromMotorex
®
. This brake fluid has a higher wet boiling point than brake fluid DOT4
and offers more protection under high load.
Never user DOT5 brake fluid! This is based on silicone oil and is colored purple. Oil seals and brake lines are not designed for
DOT5 brake fluid.
Avoid contact between brake fluid and painted parts. Brake fluid attacks paint!
Use only clean brake fluid from a sealed container!

with membrane and the O-ring.
ಥ Add brake fluid to level

Brake fluid DOT 5.1 ( P. 174)
ಥ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ಥ Mount the screw cap with the membraneand the O-ring.

Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.
