– Raise the motorcycle with the rear lifting gear. ( p. 46)

– Take the brake line out of the guide.

– Manually press the brake caliper toward the brake disc to push
back the brake piston.

Remove screw

and pull wheel speed sensor

out of the
hole.

Remove nut

. Take off chain adjuster

Pull out wheel spindle

to the point where the chain
adjuster is no longer in contact with the adjusting screw.

– Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible and take the
chain off the rear sprocket.

Cover the components to protect them against damage.
– Hold the rear wheel and remove the wheel spindle.
Warning
Danger of accidents Damaged brake discs reduce the
braking effect.
– Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the
brake disc is not damaged.
– Take the rear wheel out of the link fork.
