1. Fuel gauge indicator
With
the starter key at the [RUN] position, the fuel-
gauge-indicator indicates that the fuel remains in the
fuel tank.
WARNING
T
o avoid personal injury or death:
Before adding fuel, be sure to stop the engine.
Be sure to keep open flame away from the
machine. Otherwise a fire may result.
Make sure that fuel delivery system is
grounded.
IMPORTANT :
If the fuel-gauge-indicator is near the [E], add
the fuel as soon as possible. If the fuel-gauge-
indicator is near [E] and the machine runs on a
slope, the engine may run out of the fuel and
get interrupted.
Be very attentive to the remaining fuel for the
engine not to stall. If the engine stalls, it may
fail to get restarted for a while to protect the
emission-purifying-device.

3. Coolant temperature gauge
WARNING
T
o avoid personal injury or death:
Do not open the radiator cap during or just after
operation. Hot coolant may gush out and scald
you. Wait for the coolant to cool down before
opening the cap.
With the starter key at the [RUN] position, the coolant-
temperature-gauge indicates the coolant temperature.
If engine coolant rises above a specified temperature
level, the indicator starts blinking and the buzzer starts
beeping every six minutes for advance warning. If the
coolant temperature further rises to the critical level, the
blinking intervals become shorter and the buzzer keeps
on beeping.
When the coolant temperature has dropped below
specified temperature level or the starter key has been
moved to the [STOP] position, the warning will cease.
If the coolant-temperature-gauge is near [H], check the
machine.
