Baleejection
Whenthetwinewrapcycleisnished,thepatternpulley
willstopturningasthetwinesarecut.Atthistime,operate
thetractorhydraulicstoopenthetailgateandejectthe
bale.
Thebaleejector(1)(accessory)rollsthebaleoutofthe
balechamberfarenoughtoallowclosingofthetailgate
withouthavingtomovethetractorforward.
Ifthebaledoesnotrollfarenoughtoallowthetailgate
tobeclosed,increasethetensiononthebaleejector
springs.Ifthebalerollstoofar,whichmayresultinun-
rollingofthetwines,thendecreasethetensiononthebale
ejectorsprings.
Formachinesnotequippedwithabaleejector,backup
thetractorafewmetrespriortobaleejection.Aftereject-
ingthebale,movethetractorforwardagain,thusprevent-
ingthetailgatefromclosingontheejectedbale.
ATTENTION:Neverejectorstoreroundbaleswherethey
couldrolldownhill.Makesurethehandlingequipmentwill
notupsetandwillholdthebalesinalloperatingcondi-
tions.

Inextremecases(e.g.balestickinginthebalechamber),
itmaybenecessaryto:

Investigateifthetractorhassufcienthydraulic
powertoopenthetailgatequicklyenough.
•
Decreasefullbaledensity.
•
Installextrawedgingplates(1)underneaththeex-
istingplatesleftandrightinsidethetailgate(Figure
2).
Closeandlatchthetailgateandwatchthedensityindica-
torsfallbackto"zero"density.
Onmachinesequippedwiththeelectriccontrolboxsys-
tem(optional),ashort"beep"willbeheardasthetailgate
latches.
