Tightenalloftheconnectionsbeforestarting
theengine.Ifhydraulicuidhaspenetrated
theskin,seekmedicalassistanceimmedi-
ately.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorse-
riousinjury.

1.Thesupplyhoses(3)onthebalertooperatethetail-
gateandthehydraulicpickuplifthaveatractor‐end
malecoupler(1)complyingwithFIEIstandarddi-
mensions.
Anadaptor(2)joinsthehosetothecoupler.This
couplerwilltmostofourtractors,aswellasthe
majorityofotherbrandsoftractors.Ifthisisnot
thecase,obtaintheappropriatequick‐couplerfor
thetractorthatwillbeused,andpossiblyanother
adaptorthatwilltthehose(3).
InstallthecouplersusingTeontapeorasimilar
materialonthethreadstopreventjointleakage.

alloilfromthebalerhydraulicsystem,otherwisedamage
tothetractorhydraulicsystemcouldresult.
NOTE:Thetailgateandrotorreversersupplyhosesand
cylinderscontainapproximately1lofoil.
Keepthehoseendsandttingsfreefromcontamination
duringinstallationandhookup,ordamagetothetractor
and/orbalerhydraulicsystemmayresult.
