Withthebalerhitchedtothetractorandallelectricaland
hydraulicconnectionsmade,prepareasfollows.
Beforestartingthetowingunit
1.EnsurePTOengagementisOFF
Startthetowingvehicleandatfastidle
2.Checkthehydraulicoperationofthepickup(where
tted)
Thetailgateraiseandlower
Therotorreverser(wheretted)
Checkelectricaloperationofthemonitor
controlbox(wheretted)
Checkallroadlightsandindicatorsareoperational
iftowingonthehighway.
PTOEngagement
3.SetthethrottleathalfspeedandengagethePTO,
thislowerstartingspeedwillreducetheshockload
tothedriveline.
Ifallfunctionsareokaythebalerisnowreadyforits
purpose,disengagethePTOandtowortransport
thebalertotheeld:
TransportOperations.
Whenattheeldandbeforeoperatingthebaler:
WorkingOperations.
PARKINGTHEUNIT
Parkingthemachine[31337534]
1.Chockthewheelsandorapplyparkbrake(where
applicable)
2.Placethejack,inthedownposition,andinsertthe
pin.Turnthecranktoremovetheweightfromthe
drawbar.
3.RemovethePTO,fromthetractorandstoreiton
topoftheAframe.
4.Removethehydrauliclinesfromthetractor,and
placedustcapsontheendsofthehydrauliclines.
5.Disconnectthecableforthewrapperandthetail-
lightconnector,fromthetractortothebaler.Install
thedustcaps,onthemonitorharness.
6.Storetheendsofthehydraulichosesandwirehar-
nessesintheAframe.
