necessaryfortheparticularprocedure.Some
PPEthatmaybenecessaryincludesprotec-
tiveshoes,eyeand/orfaceprotection,hard
hat,heavygloves,ltermask,andhearing
protection.

Inspectandsharpenthetwinecuttingknives(2)every
1000balesorwheneverthetwinetailsbecomefrayed.
Sharpentheknivesfromthechamferedsidewithawhet-
tingstoneoraexibleemeryclothdisc.
NOTE:Whenreinstallingtheknivesonthemachine,
makesuretolocatetheminthemostcentredholes(1),
forgoodpositionandinclinationofthecuttingedge.

Thebarandchainconveyorisspring‐loadedtoautomat-
icallykeepitundercorrecttensionatalltimes.Manual
tensioningisnotrequired.

(X)betweentheconveyorbarsandtheoorroll.This
distanceshouldnotbebelow(X)=20mm(0.8in).Atoo
bigadistancewillincreaselossesovertherearoftheoor
roller,particularlyduringthetwinewrapcycle.Periodically
checkthisdistance,removetheplateontheaxlebehind
theoorrollerandobservefromunderthebaler,tailgate
closed:
