This section describes the components required for phase contrast microscopy.

Motorized universal condenser

• A PH module must be installed on the motorized universal condenser.
• Keep the PH module centering knob of the motorized universal condenser facing down during microscopy. Lift the knob
only when centering and push it into the centering screw to use.
• Epi-fluorescence components are also required for concurrent use of phase contrast/epi-fluorescence microscopy.
