Installing the starter toner cartridge
 When you use this machine for the first time, install the included starter toner cartridge. If an optional toner cartridge
is installed and used first, you may not be able to use the starter cartridge later.
 Do not install a starter toner cartridge that has been used in another machine. The remaining toner may not be
displayed correctly.
1 Pull the front cover open lever (blue) to open the front cover.
2 Take the black(K) starter toner cartridge out of the bag, and shake it several times vertically or
horizontally.
3 Install the black(K) starter toner cartridge in the machine.
4 Install the starter toner cartridge (C/M/Y) in the same way as the black(K) starter toner cartridge.
5 Close the front cover firmly with both hands.
